Vacations (and travel in general) are about making memories, but there are many reasons to venture away from home: to encounter new cultures, learn history, escape from your everyday life, find yourself, test your limits, relive your youth, build relationships, or share beloved experiences.

My earliest memories are of being at Walt Disney World a few months before I turned 3 years old. Growing up, I was lucky enough to travel quite a bit. I have now been to almost half of the states and 11 countries (US, Canada, Germany, Belgium, France, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia), and touched the waters of 3 oceans.

My early experiences greatly influenced me. My love of all things Disney has grown. We went roughly every 4 years growing up, which has evolved into visits every year as an adult. I even proposed to my wife in Walt Disney World, and we now get to experience new firsts with our little girl.

I have read more books and watched more documentaries about Disney (Walt Disney, Walt Disney World, Disneyland, the Disney company in general), than a person should, and I have no regrets. I have even taken behind-the-scenes tours to learn more about Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

The world is full of many other amazing places to visit, though. Yosemite National Park in California is the most majestic place that I have ever seen. I have hiked to the tops of Half Dome, El Capitan, Clouds Rest, and Yosemite Point several times. A helicopter flight over Niagara Falls is breathtaking. The coastlines of Indonesia and Thailand are gorgeous. Standing at the top of Little Round Top at the Gettysburg Battlefield is humbling. Seeing Paris from the Eiffel Tower is awe-inspiring. I have even traveled back in time, taking off from Tokyo on a Saturday afternoon and landing in San Francisco on Saturday morning.

I can think of no better way to share my knowledge and experience than to help others create memories of their own, whether it is a once-in-a-lifetime trip, the adventure of a lifetime, or the first visit to a new favorite destination. Knowing that I can be part of making a live-long memory or changing someone’s perspective of the world is very rewarding. Let me help you make your dream vacation come true!
